TEDDY BEAR DAY

Are you looking for a fun and creative way shake your routine up? If so, we have the perfect activity that will keep your child smiling all day long--teddy bear day!

There are a million fun things you can do on teddy bear day. They include but aren't limited to:

Have your child read to their favorite teddy bear.

Have your child teach their favorite teddy bear how to spell their weekly spelling words.

Have your child do a public speaking assignment by standing in front of the family and answering the following questions: Why do you love your teddy bear so much? What is your teddy bears name? When did you get your favorite teddy bear? Who got you your favorite teddy bear?

Have a teddy bear parade with your favorite teddy bears.

Have your child teach their teddy bear an educational concept you are going over (explain how to do an addition problem, explain how you know the difference between greater than or less than, and etc).

Have your child tell the family (and their teddy bear) a creative story.

Play Ring around the Rosie with all the teddy bear's and the family. You can do this by alternating human, teddy bear, human, teddy bear. Each person holds on to one of the stuffed animals arms.

Note: The night before you do the activity, ask your child what they think would be fun to do with their teddy bear. You will be amazed at what ideas they come up with! Maybe your child wants to take their teddy bear for a bike ride? Maybe your child wants to teach their teddy bear a new skill or trick? Maybe your child wants to put on a talent show for the teddy bears?
