BIRD FEEDER CUT OUTS

This is a creative activity idea that is very fun and super messy! I would suggest doing this activity outside so you don't have bird seed all over your house!

In a large bowl, mix together the following ingredients until smooth:

3/4 cup flour

1/2 cup water

1 envelope unflavored gelatin

3 tablespoons corn syrup

Once the above ingredients are mixed together add the following:

4 cups bird seed

Mix all the ingredients together until well blended. Then, spray a cookie sheet with pam cooking spray and flatten out the bird seed mixture. Take cut out cookie cutters and "cut out" different shapes and designs. Lastly, poke a hole near the top of the design with a straw (so that you can put string thru it to hang once it dries).

Let dry on the cookie sheet overnight. Lastly, put string thru the hole so that you can hang the bird feeder off a branch!
