HOMEMADE WHIP CREAM: 1 INGREDIENT

It's so FUN and EASY to make your own whip cream for your favorite special treat! The only ingredient you will need is heavy whipping cream!

Fill a large mason jar half full with heavy whipping cream. Put on the lid and shake, shake, shake! It's important to shake the jar in an up and down motion (floor to ceiling). It will take about 10 minutes of shaking before it forms into whip cream!

You will know when you've made whip cream because the jar will become light and you will be able to see that the substance in the jar is light and fluffy.

Take the whip cream out of the jar and enjoy on your favorite special treat! Or played PIE FACE which is a silly game where you get "pied in the face" with whip cream! My children love this game--lots of giggles and smiles!

Note: During the shaking process ask your child lots of questions! Who can shake the jar the longest? How many seconds are in a minute? Can you count backwards from 60 to 0? How many seconds are in 10 minutes? Can you spell your weekly spelling words? Really the list is endless on what you can do during the ten minutes of shaking to make it FUN!
